UKDividendTaxCalculator.co.uk takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

Figures you enter

You don't need an account. The dividend tax calculators work in your browser. The small calculators inside some guides send the salary and dividend figures you type to our server to work out the answer; we don't save them, although our hosting provider's standard request logs record the page address, which includes those figures.

If you use the Foreign Dividend Check, your answers are sent to our server to produce the free result. If you then buy the full report (£4.99), your answers are stored with your order by our payment processor, Stripe, so the report can be rebuilt each time you download it. Stripe handles your card details; we never see them. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Messages you send us

If you use the contact form, we keep your name, email address and message so we can reply, and the message is forwarded to us by email.

Google Analytics (GA4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics data is anonymised (IP addresses are not stored) and we do not use Google Signals. GA4 may set cookies in your browser. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google AdSense

This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing history. See Google's Privacy Policy for more information.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to count visits and tell returning visitors apart, and only after you accept them in the cookie banner. Your cookie choice is kept in your browser's local storage. Where Google AdSense advertising is shown, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure adverts; you can manage personalised ads in Google's ad settings. Advertising never affects our calculators' figures or our guidance. Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, such as a message you sent us. Use the contact page. If you're unhappy with our reply you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
