What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember preferences, and to measure how visitors use a site.

Your cookie choice

Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. The site sets no other cookies of its own for visitors.

Analytics cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, in aggregate. Analytics data is anonymised (IP addresses are not stored) and we do not use Google Signals. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising cookies

This site may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Where ads are shown, Google and its partners may set cookies to serve and measure adverts in line with their own policies. See Google's advertising policies for detail on how this data is used and how to manage your ad preferences.

When you first open a page that shows adverts, Google's consent message asks for your choice. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.

Payment cookies

If you buy the foreign dividend report, the payment page is run by Stripe on its own domain. Stripe sets cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe's privacy policy. No payment cookies are set while you are only using the calculators.

• Your cookie choice: stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie; kept until you clear it.
• Google Analytics (_ga and similar): set only after you accept analytics; counts visits and returning visitors.
• Google advertising: set by Google on pages that show adverts, according to the choice you make in Google's consent message.
• Stripe: set on Stripe's checkout page only if you buy the report.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and use Cookie settings in the site footer to change your choice. Disabling some cookies may reduce functionality on certain pages. Note that the calculator does not store any of the financial figures you enter.
